Affective commitment is a psychology term that causes many people to ask, “What is affective commitment?” This term refers to the tendency of a worker to stay at a company because of their emotional attachment to the firm.
The reviewed research indicates that affective commitment is more predictive of major organizational consequences such as turnover, absenteeism, and organizational citizenship behaviors than the theorized “Researchers generally agree there are three “foci” used to classify types of organizational commitment.
